Dear Nordie,
You are evil for not shutting down the university when the temperature is below 20 degrees. The fact that the temperature right now (5 degrees F) is rediculous, but the windchill is -22 (or lower) F. I cannot even fathom leaving my apartment to get my behind to class/work/campus tomorrow.
So, please. Be smart and cancel classes tomorrow. Give me time to finish up my clinical trials assignment and give me the opportunity to not have to tutor ANYONE tomorrow. Please. I beg of you.

EDIT: I took off and am not going to class today. Even canceled my second HPV vaccine – friday now.
I just could not see myself going outside.
Addendum: Nordie, take the day off and go buy a new toupee. I could barely stop myself the day I had the chance to steal your current one and run around screaming "Keep away! Keep away!"~N.A.A.I will say, though, at least you are lucky enough to still be in a position to have things like that canceled. There is no heat in my office right now, and the odds of me getting to go home? Zilch.
Yes but he never cancels. There are over 350 school closings and all of the universities are open. I've decided that I'm canceling all of my appointments today – not dealing with stupid students when I'm freezing my ass off.
I'm sure your students won't complain. One less reason for them to leave their dorms/apartments in this weather. And ten to one most of them are going to skip class anyway. This is frigging ridiculous.

I equate that to standing and waiting for a bus for 20 minutes. Plus, it's colder here :p
